Emily Sullivan

Emily Sullivan currently serves as the Director of Strategic Communications & Engagement at City Year, where responsibilities have included external engagement, policy, advocacy, and international operations. Prior experience at City Year also includes roles as Director of Training & Technical Assistance Operations and Operations Manager. Emily's background includes serving as a Refugee Youth and Elders Specialist at Catholic Charities of Tennessee, Inc., where co-teaching was part of the role, and involvement with AmeriCorps and the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Early career experiences include internships in international relations, public policy, and advocacy with organizations such as CARE, as well as admissions roles at the College of the Holy Cross. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from the College of the Holy Cross and has pursued additional studies at Sciences Po Strasbourg and Institut de Touraine.
