Yvette Vargas

Yvette Vargas is an experienced professional in community engagement and program management, currently serving as Community School Director and Impact Manager at City Year since November 2017. Previously, Yvette held the position of Program Coordinator at Practice Makes Perfect, where relationship-building with stakeholders and team-building workshop leadership were key responsibilities. As a Program Associate and Food Justice Fellow at Repair the World, Yvette was involved in candidate recruitment, application evaluation, and community volunteer initiatives. Yvette's diverse background includes roles as Store Camp Manager at Walton's Grizzly Lodge, FEMA Corps Member assisting post-disaster recovery, Special Education Secretary at Tehama County Department of Education, and Resident Manager at Everett Apartments, further showcasing versatility in both educational and community service settings.
