Helen Hutchison has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology and IT industry. Helen has held various managerial and leadership positions in different companies. Since 2023, they have been working as the Director of IT Governance & Control at CityFibre. From 2020 to 2023, they served as the Director of Digital Services Business Partner - Operations at National Highways, where they led a team of 3,300 employees and supported the organization's investment plan. Prior to that, they worked in roles such as Byte Night Board Member at Action for Children and Technology Consultant - CIO Advisory at KPMG UK. Helen also has experience in leading IT service operations and support teams at Rosti Automotive and Drax Group. Helen has successfully implemented infrastructure projects and managed IT services at various organizations, including TD Direct Investing (Europe), Produban Cards (Part of the Santander Group), Santander Cards UK Limited, and GE Money. Throughout their career, Helen has demonstrated their ability to deliver innovative solutions and drive the growth and development of IT teams.

Helen Hutchison obtained a BA Hons European Studies and German degree with a 2:1 classification from Keele University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In 1998-1999, they also studied German, European Politics & History at Wolfgang-Goethe Universitaet in Frankfurt-am-Main. Helen later obtained certifications in TOGAF® Certification Program 9.2 from The Open Group and ITIL v4.0 from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019.
