John Shrieves

John Shrieves has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Oliver Valves in 1993 and worked there until 1996. John then moved on to ntl, where they held the position of Network Engineer from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they joined Initial Electronic Security Systems as an Electronics Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex electro-mechanical access control and detection systems, as well as datacomms networks. In 2007, they joined CityFibre as a Planning and Design Manager, overseeing the planning and design process until 2016 when they were promoted to the role of Head of Design. In 2019, they became the Passive Engineering Lead at CityFibre, and most recently, in 2022, they assumed the position of Head of Build Quality and Engineering.

John Shrieves attended Liverpool John Moores University from 1996 to 1999, studying Mechanical Engineering. No degree name was specified.
