Marissa Abernathy

Marissa Abernathy is a seasoned fundraising and events consultant with nearly 20 years of professional experience in strategic planning, implementation, and execution of development activities across non-profit and small business sectors. Currently serving at mAd Creative, LLC, Marissa also plays a key role as a fundraising consultant for CityLink Center, where responsibilities include establishing comprehensive donor relations and communications strategies. Previously, Marissa held the position of Development Director at Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity, focusing on fundraising, marketing, and public relations. Marissa's expertise was further demonstrated as a consultant with Integrity Development Corp and as Development Manager at SmartMoney Community Services. Marissa began the career in mortgage delinquency management at US Bank. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Cincinnati.
