Mark Shannon has worked in a variety of roles since 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Corporate Communications Executive at Cook Medical. In 2021, they worked as a Marketing Executive at Sonas Recruitment. Currently, they are a Business Development Executive at CitySwift, where they are responsible for creating and supporting bus industry experts, using big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning to increase network performance, service reliability and passenger satisfaction. Mark is also responsible for visualizing and automatically reporting a customisable suite of detailed reliability, efficiency and demand metrics, accurately predicting journey times and capacity levels, and creating optimised timetables that balance vehicle supply with passenger demand.

Mark Shannon attended the University of Limerick where they obtained a BBS & German degree in Marketing.
