Kristy Perez, PhD, serves as the Vice President of Clinical Programs at CivaTech Oncology, Inc., since April 2012, where responsibilities include strategic planning for clinical trials and clinical data analysis for publication. Previous roles at CivaTech include Manager of R&D and Clinical Programs, Lead Scientist, and Research Scientist, managing projects and regulatory submissions related to medical devices for cancer therapy. Kristy spent time at Duke University from 2007 to 2011 as a postdoc and Radiation Safety Lab Liaison, where efforts included improving radiation tracking and safety procedures. Additional experience includes an internship at RTI International focused on innovation and commercialization, involvement with the Duke University Startup Challenge, and work as a Reactor Operator at NC State University Research Reactor. Kristy holds a PhD in Medical Physics from Duke University and a BS in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University.
