Prof. Dr. Oliver Serfling

Prof. Dr. Oliver Serfling has a long and distinguished career in academia. In 2010, they began working as the Head of Finance and Vice-Director at the Vietnamese-German University, where they were responsible for developing the Financial Management System and organizational development of the Department. Prof. Dr. Oliver also contributed to Governance and Policy Frameworks for New Model Universities. In 2013, they moved to Rhine-Waal University, where they served as the Academic Head of the Study Program "M.A. Sustainable Development Management" and a Professor of Economic Policy and Development Economics. In 2015, they founded and became the Chief Scientific Advisor of Civey.

Prof. Dr. Oliver Serfling studied at Goethe University and the University of Basel, where they earned a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Econometrics.
