Spencer Renfrow

Spencer Renfrow is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and operational oversight within the banking sector. Currently serving as the VP of Payments Strategy and Risk at Civic Federal Credit Union since August 2023, Spencer focuses on strategic initiatives and risk management for payment products. Previously, Spencer held the position of Senior Operational Line Risk Manager at Credit Suisse, providing guidance on financial and regulatory risks. At TIAA Bank, Spencer supervised a team responsible for the remediation of issues within the Bank's Issues Management program. Spencer's career also includes significant roles at Truist as an SVP/Operational Risk Officer, overseeing operational risk across multiple business units, and at BB&T BankCard Services managing a substantial credit card portfolio. Spencer began a career in banking at First Citizens Bank as a Branch Manager after earning an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business.
