Shambhavi Punjala

Shambhavi Punjala is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Sociology. Current roles include serving as a Student Researcher at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, where development of an in vitro culture platform for studying immune cell recruitment in relation to breast tumors is a primary focus. Additionally, Shambhavi is a Project Intern at Civic Influencers, conducting research on civic engagement accessibility on college campuses, and a Medical Assistant at ALL BEAR CUB PEDIATRICS. Other experience includes mentoring at AmeriCorps, patient transportation at UPMC, and previous internships in development with organizations like Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania and Givology, alongside earlier roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
