Richard Yang

Richard Yang is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Manager in Cybersecurity Oversight at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore since July 2023. With previous experience as an intern in Futures and Information Technology at the same organization, Richard contributed to initiatives promoting open company culture and improving user interface and data visualization tools. Richard also worked as a self-employed tuition teacher, successfully enhancing students' performance in Science and Mathematics. Prior military service includes a role as an Artillery Specialist in the Singapore Armed Forces, where Richard held the rank of 3rd Sergeant and managed complex artillery operations. Academically, Richard holds a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Imperial College London, complemented by early research experience at the National University of Singapore.
