Paul Gray is an accomplished academic and leader with extensive experience in various prominent positions. Currently serving as an Honorary Senior Research Fellow and Honorary Professor at the University of Glasgow, Gray also holds roles as a Civil Service Commissioner and Lay Member for the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland. With a distinguished background in health and social care, Gray was the Chief Executive of NHS Scotland and Director General of Health and Social Care at the Scottish Government from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, Gray contributes to several organizations, including the Care Inspectorate as a Non-Executive Director and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh as Senior Faculty for the Quality Governance Collaborative. Gray is also a Patron of Medics Against Violence and serves as a Senior Advisor at Charlotte Street Partners. Education includes participation in leadership programs at Windsor Leadership and the Civil Service College.
