Leah Malkovich has a diverse work experience starting in 2014 as a Legislative Intern at the United States Senate. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Political Action Committee Intern at the National Organization for Women. Leah then became an Undergraduate Writing Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2013 to 2016, during which they also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Political Science Department from 2014 to 2014. In 2016, they worked as a Regional Fellow for the Illinois Democratic Coordinated Campaign. At the University of Virginia, Leah held multiple roles from 2018 to 2019, including Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Politics, Data Analytics & Data for Democracy Fellow at the StatLab in the University of Virginia Library, and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Politics. Leah'smost recent position is an Applied Data Scientist at Civis Analytics, which they started in May 2019.
Leah Malkovich completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a Certificate in French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Leah then pursued a Master of Arts degree at the University of Virginia from 2017 to 2019, specializing in American Politics with a minor in Methodology.
