Luke Heeringa

Luke Heeringa is a Senior Applied Data Scientist at Civis Analytics since December 2021, where Luke has collaborated with leading commercial organizations to address media measurement challenges using Big Data Analytics. Responsibilities include developing production-level code and managing data pipelines with Python and SQL, as well as creating machine learning models for diverse audiences. Prior to this role, Luke served as an Applied Data Scientist II and I, and worked at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. managing analytics on community surveys and securing grant funding. Additional experience includes positions at State Street, a law office, and as a health educator at Peer Health Exchange. Luke holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Northeastern University and completed a program at General Assembly.
