Nisa Dang

Nisa Dang is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries. In 2016, they worked as a Field Organizer for the Nevada State Democratic Party, where they played a crucial role in increasing voter turnout and aiding in the election of 38 Democrats in Clark County, Nevada. Nisa then joined Goldberg & Associates in 2017 as an Executive Office Coordinator, where they facilitated case adjudication and oversaw workflows to improve efficiency. Nisa later transitioned to ActBlue, starting as a State Outreach Assistant in 2018, where they built and maintained relationships with campaigns and organizations while conducting trainings on digital fundraising. Nisa quickly progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Senior State and Local Outreach Associate, Training and Rural Lead, and Democratic Politics and Elections State and Local Associate – South. In these positions, they excelled in developing digital fundraising resources, building strategic relationships, and providing valuable trainings. Currently, Nisa works as a Principal Consultant at Nisa Ihsan Dang, utilizing their expertise as a writer and political educator to deliver digital organizing expertise and perspectives on global anti-Blackness. Nisa has written editorials and personal essays on various topics, including war, immigration, and mental health. In May 2023, Nisa will begin working as a Sales and Partnerships Manager at Civitech.

Nisa Dang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, studying from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Project Planning: Putting It All Together" from Coursera in December 2022, "Foundations of Project Management" from Coursera | Google in October 2022, "Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project" from Coursera | Google in October 2022, and "SEO" from the HubSpot Academy in June 2022.
