Strategic Accounts Director - East Region at Civix

Karen Gee began their work experience in 1994 as an Analyst/Developer at Claremont Technology Group. From 1998 to 2006, they worked at Covansys as a Project Manager, overseeing project teams in various locations and managing all phases of the project life cycle.

In 2006, Karen joined Saber as the Senior Director/Unemployment Insurance Practice Leader, where they built relationships with potential customers and business partners and led the creation of proposals and marketing materials. Karen also played a crucial role in determining the functional content of HP's Unemployment Insurance product.

In 2008, Karen moved to Electronic Data Systems as the Unemployment Insurance Practice Leader, continuing their leadership in sales efforts and strategic direction planning.

Starting in 2009, Karen joined HP as the Labor Practice Leader, responsible for three lines of business: Unemployment Insurance, Workers' Compensation, and Workforce Development. In 2011, Karen transitioned to the role of Applications Practice Leader at HP ES SLED, where they set the strategic direction for HP's State and Local Portfolio for Applications Modernization and Mobility. Karen also provided project management support for HP Sales efforts.

In 2014, Karen became a Sales Executive at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, serving as the primary customer contact for the mid-west and Northeast regional customers, focusing on state and local portfolio including applications services, outsourcing, cloud services, hosting, mobile strategies, and big data.

In 2016, Karen joined PCC Technology, Inc as a Sales Executive, responsible for being the first point of contact for State and Local Government Agencies interested in procuring various solutions.

Most recently, Karen is working as the Strategic Accounts Director - East Region at Civix since July 2020. Karen'srole involves developing and managing relationships with key state and local government accounts in the region east of the Mississippi, aligning customer needs with company strategy, and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

From 1984 to 1988, Karen Gee attended The College of Saint Rose. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Communications.
