Vice President, Customer Experience at Civix

Mike Garner has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mike most recently worked as the Vice President of Customer Experience at Civix since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Internal IT at Community Brands from August 2021 to April 2022. From September 2018 to August 2021, Mike served as the Vice President of Customer Support at CentralSquare Technologies. Before that, they worked as the Vice President of Customer Support at Superion from September 2017 to July 2021. In addition, Mike also briefly served as the Sr. Director of Support Governance at Superion from April 2017 to September 2017. Mike's earlier experience includes various roles at SunGard Public Sector, including Director of PS&J Customer Support from October 2011 to April 2017, Director of PS&J OneSolution Development from September 2009 to October 2011, and Sr. Manager of Development from April 1995 to September 2009. Their career started as a Computer Specialist at the Burlington, NC Police Department in 1993.

Mike Garner attended Cummings High School from 1984 to 1988. Mike then went on to attend Appalachian State University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Mike later pursued their Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration at Appalachian State University from 1993 to 1994.
