Civil Labourer - Tauranga

Civtec provide directional drilling, underground thrusting, civil and utilities works. Since establishment in 2014 we have continued to diversify and now have capabilities covering a range of services and technologies servicing the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. We have dedicated teams of Designers, Field Technicians and Civil works crews. We use the latest technology and high-quality machinery to provide civil, utilities and underground services.

The role:
We are looking for a multi skilled Labourer to join our Tauranga Civil team. As a Labourer you will carry out physical tasks and civil works required for fibre installation as well as remedial work. You will ensure works are completed to a high quality and are completed to industry/Civtec's standards.

• Installation of fibre optic duct as per Civtec's standards

• Use of all installation equipment and hand tools. E.g. Grundomat, Mole plough, Terrasaw, Concrete cutter

• Pothole by hand or using machines for location of existing services

• Installation of fibre optic cable from distribution point to premise.

• Basic reinstatement of earthworks.

• Ensure site is safe for team and public.

• Undertake installation documentation as required and support other teams to complete documentation.

• Undertake any other tasks to support the overall Civtec business as required from time to time.
