Walter Torres Melgarejo

Walter Torres Melgarejo has worked for three companies since 1997. Walter began their career at Yanbal International, where they held the roles of Leader of Projects, Business Analyst and Systems Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for leading global projects related to technology in different business units in Latin America, Spain and Italy. Walter was also the Leader of IT Commercial (As400) and the Leader of the IT Project Opening Venezuela. Additionally, they were the Coordinator of the Commercial System/Systems Analyst, where they were assigned to commercial processes and traveled to regional offices to provide training on the implemented systems.

In 2015, Walter began working at ITS Solutions as a Consultant As400.

Since 2016, Walter has been working at CLAI Group as a Project Coordinator PMO. In this role, they are responsible for administering, controlling and monitoring the project portfolio, meeting with the client, mapping and documenting processes and procedures, and ensuring project profitability. Walter also looks for opportunities to improve the service provided to the client and the organization.

Walter Torres Melgarejo has a diverse educational background. Walter obtained a Lic. en Administración de Empresas from Universidad de las Américas, a Profesional en Sistemas from Universidad SISE, and a Inteligencia artificial - Machine learning from Stanford University in 2018. Walter also completed a Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from Scrum Study in 2018 and a Fundamentos Marketing Digital from Google pour les pros in 2020. In 2017, they obtained a SAP conceptos e iniciación / SAP BW Introducción from Logali SAP and a Diplomado Gerencia de Proyectos from Politécnico de Colombia. Walter also completed a Diplomado Gerencia Sistemas Integrados de Gestión from Politécnico Superior de Colombia and a Coaching - Manejo y Resolución de conflictos from Universidad de las Américas in 2016. In 2012, they completed a Profesional Ingeniería de Requisitos (IREB) from InnovaSys and a Metodología Gerencia de Proyectos from IBM de Colombia in 1997.
