Michael Elkin began their work experience as the Operations Manager for Macy's Parade from August 1996 to March 1998. Michael then worked as the Director of Application Development and Project Management for Prism Communications from January 1999 to March 2000. Following this, they were employed at IBM Global Services as a Senior Strategy and Management Consultant from January 2001 to August 2001. Michael later served as the Assistant Commissioner/Director, 311 at the City of New York from January 2003 to November 2005. From April 2006 to March 2007, Elkin was the Executive Director for the NYC Department of Education. Michael then worked as the Chief Client Officer for Columbia University from March 2007 to May 2011. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at Claims Conference since July 2011.
Michael Elkin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from William Paterson University of New Jersey from 1984 to 1989. Michael also obtained a Master of Science degree in Strategic Communications from Columbia University, attending from 2009 to 2010. Elkin's education also includes attending Capital Page School from 1983 to 1984.
