Michael Darer

Michael Darer currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Claire's, overseeing global strategy, transformation, analytics, and procurement since 2022. Previously, Darer held the position of Vice President and Head of Global Strategy at Bain & Company while also advising clients in the Retail and Consumer Products industry. Prior roles include Vice President of Global Strategy and Investor Relations at The Kraft Heinz Company, and Vice President of U.S. Customer and Commercial Insights at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where a focus on consumer behavior and market dynamics enhanced customer engagement. Darer began a career at Bain & Company as an Associate Partner and worked as a Consultant at Accenture, holding an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School and a BS with Distinction in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
