Itamar Netzer

Itamar Netzer has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Itamar is currently serving as the Hefer Subdistrict Director at Clalit Health Services since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Stanford Biodesign Innovation Fellow at Biodesign Israel from October 2020 to July 2021. Itamar also served as a Fellow in Healthcare Administration at Rambam Health Care Campus from November 2020 to April 2021. Before joining Rambam, Netzer was a Medical Advisor to the Chief of Technologies Division at the Ministry of Health Israel from October 2019 to April 2021. During this time, they were also a member of the National COVID-19 Control Center. Netzer has extensive military experience as well, serving in various roles in the Israel Defense Forces from 2001 to March 2021, including as a Fleet Surgeon with the rank of Commander. Itamar led medical support in naval and special operations and managed a team of 60 professionals. Netzer began their career as a Resident at Rambam Medical Center from December 2009 to December 2015.

Itamar Netzer has an extensive education history in the field of medicine. Itamar obtained their Medical Doctor (MD) degree from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1994 to 2001. Itamar then pursued further specialization and obtained the certification of Physician, Obstetrician, and Gynecologist from the Ministry of Health Israel in December 2015.

To enhance their knowledge and skills in healthcare innovation, Itamar Netzer pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Healthcare Innovation from Reichman University. Itamar attended the university from 2019 to 2020.

Continuing their pursuit of innovation in the medical field, Itamar Netzer joined Biodesign Israel in 2020, where they engaged in Medical Device Innovation studies for a year until 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Itamar Netzer also holds various certifications. Itamar obtained the certification of Medical Doctor from the Ministry of Health Israel in April 2003. Itamar later acquired the certification of Medical Administration Specialist in July 2021, adding to their expertise in healthcare administration and management.
