Jyoti Katiyar has an education history that includes pursuing a degree in Economics at different institutions. Jyoti attended The Army Public School in Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi from 2005 to 2008, where they completed their senior secondary education with a focus on Commerce, including Maths. From 2008 to 2011, they attended Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Economics. Following that, they pursued a MA degree in Economics at Jawaharlal Nehru University from 2011 to 2013.
