Stephan Trautschold

Stephan Trautschold has a strong background in operations and management. Stephan started their career in 2004 as a Plant Manager at Clariant and held this role until 2011. From 2010 to 2011, they also worked as the General Manager at Hangzhou Baihe Clariant Pigments. Co., Ltd. Stephan then moved back to Clariant and took on various leadership positions, including Head of Operations for Greater China and Japan from 2011 to 2013, Head of Operations for Asia in 2014, and Head of Operations for the EMEA region and Site Gendorf from 2014 to 2018. From 2019 to 2022, Stephan served as the Head of Global Operations for Industrial and Consumer Specialties at Clariant, and since October 2022, they have been the Head of Global Operations for Care Chemicals at Clariant.

Stephan Trautschold completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Hamburg in 1992. Stephan then pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich from 1992 to 1995. Stephan furthered their education with a PhD in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich from 1995 to 1998. Stephan continued their studies by earning a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business in 2002. Stephan also obtained another MBA degree from the University of Augsburg in 2003.
