VP And Head Of Global Supply Chain Management at Clariant

Yasser Bin Sabir has a wealth of experience in supply chain management spanning several companies. Yasser is currently the VP and Head of Global Supply Chain Management at Clariant since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ARLANXEO from 2015 to 2021, where they held the roles of VP and Head of CoE for Supply Chain and Procurement, as well as Vice President & Global Head of IBP. At ARLANXEO, they were responsible for developing and executing the global supply chain strategy, leading transformation programs, and establishing best-in-class IBP processes.

Before their time at ARLANXEO, Yasser worked at Lanxess from 2004 to 2014, where they held various positions such as Head of Global S&OP Management, Head of Global Product Management, Regional Product Manager - Europe & MEA, and Head of Global Market Intelligence. In these roles, they implemented advanced S&OP processes, improved forecast accuracy, led product management and technical marketing teams, and successfully rolled out a new packaging concept for the company's products, resulting in significant cost savings and reduced carbon footprint.

Prior to Lanxess, Yasser worked at Bayer as a Regional Sales Manager for the Middle-East and Africa from 2001 to 2004, at REDA Group as Sales Head for the Oil and Gas Business from 1999 to 2000, and at Reliance as an Assistant Manager for Investment Projects from 1998 to 1999.

Yasser Bin Sabir's education history includes a B. Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, AMU, Aligarh, which they completed from 1991 to 1995. Yasser then pursued an MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. Recently, in 2021, Yasser joined the IMD High Performance Leadership (HPL) Program.
