Brandon Dubbs

Brandon D. has a strong background in research and data science. Brandon began their career as a Weapons System Technician in the United States Air Force, where they excelled in troubleshooting and maintenance. After leaving the military, Brandon gained experience as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant at Maricopa Community Colleges, providing support and instruction in various CS subjects. Brandon then joined Leidos as a Machine Learning Intern, where they developed deep learning algorithms for geospatial image recognition and achieved impressive results in contextual word recognition. Brandon later worked as a Data Scientist at Smashtech, performing statistical analysis and implementing fraud detection models. Brandon further expanded their research skills at Arizona State University, where they applied novel approaches to self-driving cars and investigated meta and one-shot learning. As an Applied Machine Learning Researcher at Novetta, Brandon researched and applied cutting-edge machine learning algorithms in computer vision, natural language processing, and graph neural networks. In their role as a Senior Data Scientist at CalypsoAI, they served as a principal investigator for multiple research projects, wrote technical requirements for business proposals, and conducted research on adversarial attacks. Currently, Brandon holds the position of Senior Research Scientist at Clarifai, where they research deep learning techniques and deploys object detection pipelines. Brandon has also developed a super resolution solution to improve performance on rare and small objects.

From 2014 to 2019, Brandon D. attended Arizona State University. Brandon studied Mathematics and Computer Science during this time, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree in these fields.
