Jacob Kovarskiy

Jacob Kovarskiy has extensive experience in research and engineering roles. Jacob is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at Clarifai since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Peraton Labs as a Research Scientist from April 2021 to August 2022. Jacob also served as a Research Fellow at the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory from January 2019 to April 2021. Jacob gained further research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University from May 2016 to December 2018 and as a Journeyman Summer Fellow at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory from May 2018 to August 2018. Jacob also worked as an IT Assistant at Fenske Laboratory from October 2012 to December 2015. In addition, they had internships at Verizon Wireless as an RF Design Intern in June 2015, at Penn State College of Engineering as an Undergraduate Researcher from August 2014 to May 2015, and at Polaris Industries as an Intellectual Property Engineering Intern from May 2014 to August 2014.

Jacob Kovarskiy attended Penn State University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering from 2016 to 2021. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jacob also obtained certifications such as the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (NI CLAD) from National Instruments and the Keysight ADS Fundamentals from Keysight Technologies.
