Nick van Vliet has a wealth of experience in sales, account management and business development. Nick began their career in 2012 as an intern at ISI Group in Washington DC, where they compiled data and conducted research for daily policy reports. Nick then moved to New York to take on an internship at ISI Group, where they focused on the regulated utilities industry and helped prepare for and participated in client meetings. In 2013, they joined Atlantic Trading as an Associate, where they managed relationships from purchasing to shipping and cultivated relationships with current and prospective clients. In 2014, they joined Hanover Research as an Associate, where they formulated strategic sales plans, provided support and client service and conducted lead generation. In 2015, they joined SEI as an Account Executive, where they managed new business relationships in Texas and Oklahoma. Nick was promoted to Senior Account Executive in 2017, where they managed a territory with $3.4B in AUM, 200 active client relationships and $25.5M in revenue. In 2019, they moved to Entech as a Senior Account Manager, where they created new client opportunities and drove brand awareness. Most recently, they joined Clarip in 2022 as Director of Enterprise Accounts, where they oversee the company's Privacy Governance Platform, which is trusted by Fortune 500 organizations to comply with global privacy laws.
Nick van Vliet obtained their High School Diploma from The Hill School in 2008. Nick then attended The George Washington University from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Elliott School of International Affairs. In 2016, they obtained a Series 65 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
