Ankur Deb

Ankur Deb has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Ankur started their career with an internship at Jadavpur University in 2016. Ankur then worked as an Internship Trainee at the National Institute Of Rock Mechanics in 2017. In 2019, Ankur worked as a Voluntary Sector Regional Researcher at NOTTINGHAM COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTARY SERVICE and also as a Public Consultation Researcher at Nottingham City Council.

Ankur gained valuable experience in the environmental sector through their roles at the UN Environment Programme, where they worked as a Consultant and also as an Environmental Affairs Intern from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at Future Earth Coasts in 2021.

In 2022, Ankur joined the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) as a Researcher/Project co-lead, where they worked until April 2023. Ankur is currently employed at Clarity AI as an Associate- ESG Data Research, starting from June 2023.

Overall, Ankur has built a strong foundation of experience in research, environmental affairs, and consultation, and is currently contributing to the field of ESG data research at Clarity AI.

Ankur Deb has a Master's degree in Water and Coastal Management from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Ankur also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Management with a focus on Geography from the University of Nottingham. Prior to that, Ankur completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Delhi University. In addition to their formal education, Ankur has obtained certifications in "Productivity Tips: Finding Your Productive Mindset" from LinkedIn and the PADI Advanced Open Water License from PADI.
