Anna Treadway

Anna Treadway is an accomplished publishing professional with extensive experience in editorial leadership and publishing strategy. Currently serving as Senior Director of Publication Selection Strategy and Executive Editor at Clarivate since September 2019, Anna manages the Web of Science editorial team to establish best practices and promote global unity. Previous roles include Head of Scientific Reports and the BMC Series at Springer Nature, as well as Head of Scientific Reports at Nature Research, where Anna was accountable for the publishing strategy of a fully open-access journal. With earlier positions as Project Director at BioMed Central and various directorial roles at Informa, Anna has demonstrated expertise in overseeing editorial teams, P&L management, and product development across numerous scientific and legal publications. Anna holds a first-class honors degree in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
