Melanie Margolin

Melanie D. Margolin currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Clarivate since September 2023, having previously held the same title at Thumbtack from December 2020 to September 2023. Prior to that, Melanie was the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Wabash National from 2018 to 2020, where responsibilities included overseeing all legal and compliance matters for a publicly traded corporation in the logistics sector. Additionally, Melanie was the Deputy General Counsel at Cummins Inc. from 2013 to 2018, leading a team focused on global litigation and compliance for the corporation's largest business segment. Earlier experience includes roles at Frost Brown Todd as an Associate through Equity Partner and legal positions at Alholm, Monahan, Klauke, Hay & Oldenburg and the Chicago Housing Authority. Melanie D. Margolin earned a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with completion of the Finance for Non-Financial Executives program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2018.
