Ana Markasyan

Ana Markasyan has extensive experience in the field of compensation and human resources. Ana is currently working as the VP of Global Compensation at Clarks, where they lead the compensation team. Prior to this role, Ana held positions such as Director of Global Compensation and Compensation Manager at Clarks.

Before joining Clarks, Ana worked at ALEX AND ANI as the Manager of Compensation and Payroll. In this role, they led various compensation projects and developed retail base pay ranges. Ana also stayed updated on compensation and payroll-related legislative changes to ensure compliance.

Prior to that, Ana served as a Senior Compensation Analyst at AMC Networks, where they performed job analysis, evaluated job descriptions, and participated in external compensation surveys. Ana also played a key role in implementing the compensation module of Workday.

Ana started their career at Coty Inc as an Assistant in Human Resources. Ana later specialized in compensation and performed various compensation analyses. Ana also collaborated with other departments on compensation-related matters.

Before joining Coty Inc, Ana gained experience as an intern in Human Resources.

Throughout their career, Ana has continuously gained valuable skills and knowledge in compensation and HR. Ana is certified as a CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) and SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified Professional).

Ana Markasyan, CCP, SHRM-SCP completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hunter College in 2008. Ana further pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Baruch College, which they completed in 2012. In terms of certifications, Ana obtained the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from WorldatWork in 2018, followed by the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in 2019.
