JT Kaltreider, M.Ed has a wealth of experience in the education field. From 2014 to 2021, they worked in various roles at KinderCare, Sylvan Learning, American Paradigm Schools, The School District of Philadelphia, WHYY, YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties, Children's Media Association, You Matter Productions and Greater Somerset County YMCA.

At KinderCare, they served as a Lead Preschool Teacher, where they prepared lesson plans for preschool students, taught language arts, shapes, colors, numbers, music, and art, managed classroom activities, evaluated individual progress and recommended appropriate learning plans, fostered reasoning and problem solving through active exploration games and activities, and monitored students' academic, social and emotional progress.

At Sylvan Learning, they worked as a Professional Tutor. At American Paradigm Schools, they were a 2nd Grade Elementary Teacher at First Philadelphia Charter School, where they collaborated with administrators on classroom policies, management strategies and discipline, planned lessons according to district standards to cover requirements and prepare for standardized tests, and helped students develop self-esteem and life skills by fostering healthy conflict-resolution, critical thinking and communication.

At The School District of Philadelphia, they were an Elementary Teacher/Principal Intern at Juniata Park Academy, where they planned and implemented integrated lessons to meet national standards, communicated frequently with parents, students and faculty to provide feedback and discuss instructional strategies, and worked cooperatively with other teachers, administrators and parents to help students reach learning objectives.

At WHYY, they were a Family & Community Workshop Instructor. At YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties, they served as a PreK Counts Teacher at Morrsiville School District, where they prepared lesson plans for PreK students, taught language arts (making meaning), shapes, colors, numbers, music, art, modified and adapted lessons for IEP students, managed classroom activities, collaborated with grade partners and administration, and worked with teaching staff to evaluate individual progress and recommend appropriate learning plans. JT also served as a Summer Camp Counselor.

At Children's Media Association, they were a National Marketing Coordinator, where they wrote, edited, and published content to share on all brand's company social media profiles and partner channels, maintained brand innovation and kept abreast of the latest social media trends, increased and monitored brand presence on social media posts, monitored brand-related mentions on all social platforms and engaged with reader's response to posts, strengthened member relationships, assisted the marketing team with developing and implementing social media strategies, utilized social media analytic tools to track consumer engagement and draw conclusions of user data, collaborated with multi-disciplinary departments including graphics, events, and membership to create scheduling of posts, generate copies, and publish graphics, organized logistics for marketing and proposal strategy meetings, researched, gathered and edited proposal materials, and leveraged different market research strategies to investigate new products and enhance campaign planning.

At You Matter Productions, they were a Director/Writer/Executive Producer at The Mister Kay Show, where they applied accounting and financial management acumen to every area of production, coordinated with producers and talent to create program content, new ideas and segments, kept key stakeholders informed of status and vision through milestone updates and work-in-progress presentations.

Finally, at Greater Somerset County YMCA, they are currently the Senior Director of Youth Development, where they prepare action plans to address concerns discovered through surveys, classroom observations and conversations with stakeholders, recruits, develops and encourages volunteers and parents to provide social emotional activities for youth, directs supervisor of Director of Early Child Care & Associate Director of Youth

JT Kaltreider, M.Ed has a diverse and extensive educational background. JT holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Drexel University in Educational Leadership and Management, a School Principal Certificate from Drexel University in Education, a Master of Education (MEd) from Penn State World Campus in Special Education, and two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees from Cairn University in Religion/Religious Studies and Education. JT has also obtained several certifications, including a School Principal Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in September 2020, a STEM.org Certified certification from STEM.org | Educational Research in March 2019, a Pennsylvania Teaching PK-4 Instructional II Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in January 2018, a Pi Lambda Theta Honor Society Member certification from Pi Lambda Theta in January 2018, a New Teacher Induction Program certification from First Philadelphia Charter School in June 2015, and a Pennsylvania Teaching PK-4 Instructional I Certification (Converted to Instructional II 01/2018) from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in September 2014.
