Publio Velasco-Staudy

Publio Velasco-Staudy is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as VP of Finance at ClassWallet since October 2018, Publio also founded Staudy - Accounting & Business Solutions in January 2016, focusing on enhancing international accounting processes for Fintech start-ups. Previous roles include Corporate Finance Director for a joint venture between Mastercard and Telefonica, overseeing financial operations across multiple countries, and VP of Finance at EFG Capital Latin America & Caribbean, where significant integration and team development occurred. Earlier in the career, Publio held positions as Regional Controller at Heidrick & Struggles and Financial Audit Associate at Price Waterhouse, garnering a strong foundation in financial reporting and auditing. Publio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universidad Católica del Táchira.
