Amanda Hoskins

Amanda Hoskins has a diverse work experience in design, marketing, and branding. Amanda currently holds the position of Sr. Brand Designer at Classy.org since November 2021. Prior to that, Amanda worked as a Freelancer at Amanda Leigh Design from 2012, where they served as a Graphic Designer for Warren and Doris Buffet's charities and as a UI/UX Designer for World Vision International.

From 2015 to 2021, Amanda worked at The Control Group (Now PeopleConnect), starting as a Designer and later promoted to Senior Designer. During their time there, they set up and maintained brand guidelines, designed and supported the implementation of new features for internal applications, and created clean and effective designs for split testing on consumer-facing websites and apps. Amanda also assisted the marketing team with design assets for various campaigns.

Between 2013 and 2015, Amanda held the position of Marketing Manager at PetBox, where they collaborated with developers, executive teams, and merchandising departments to plan and execute marketing campaigns. Amanda also played a key role in developing brand systems and setting branding guidelines, as well as creating design assets for social media and organizing product photoshoots.

Amanda's earlier work experiences include roles such as Designer at NextGen Leads, LLC (2016-2018); Designer/Web Specialist at San Diego Small Business Marketing Services (2013); Graphic Designer at Global Village Concerns (2011-2013); and Freelance Graphic Designer at Rekola Design Group (2012-2013). Amanda also worked as a Graphic Design Intern at the Underground Society of Designers at Chico State (2010) and as a Web Designer/Graphic Designer at Associated Students, Chico State (2009-2010).

Amanda Hoskins obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Photography from California State University, Chico, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at Deakin University, focusing on Graphic Design and Photography. Additionally, in May 2019, Amanda obtained a certification in "Sketch Master: Getting Started with Sketch and User Experience Design in Sketch" from the institution Sketch Master.
