Jami Becka

Jami Becka has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Their most recent position is as a Senior Account Executive at Classy, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Northwestern University for six years as a Senior Associate Director, from February 2016 to August 2022. Before joining Northwestern University, Jami worked as an Associate Director of Leadeship Giving at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business from June 2015 to February 2016. They also served as an Assistant Director of Class Giving and Reunions at The University of Chicago from June 2014 to June 2015. Earlier in their career, Jami was the Director of Program and Resource Development at The Black Star Project from January 2009 to June 2014. They also had leadership roles at Global Explorers Kids, including President of the Board from November 2012 to December 2013, and Board Member from November 2011 to November 2012. Additionally, Jami worked as a Coordinator at Chicago Time Exchange from November 2008 to November 2012, where they contributed to the establishment and growth of a sustainable infrastructures network. Their first professional position was as a Business Office member at Kansas City Cardiology Associates from October 2007 to July 2008.

Jami Becka completed a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies at Loyola University Chicago from 2003 to 2007. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Masters of Arts in Divinity History at the University of Chicago.
