Paul Steinbrecher

Paul Steinbrecher is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in utility and environmental services. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Clay County Utility Authority since 2021, Paul leads the Engineering Department, overseeing the operational and financial performance of capital projects. Paul previously held significant roles at JEA from 2001 to 2021, including Vice President and Chief Environmental Services Officer, where responsibilities encompassed environmental permitting, compliance, incident response, and full-service laboratory functions. Prior to JEA, Paul worked at CH2M HILL as a Process Engineer and Project Manager, focusing on water and wastewater treatment facilities on a global scale. Paul earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University.
