Jörg Althaus

Jörg Althaus has extensive work experience in the solar industry, with a focus on quality control, risk mitigation measures, and inspections. Jörg is currently the Director of Engineering Services, ESG and QA at Clean Energy Associates (CEA), where they help stakeholders in the solar industry secure their assets. Prior to this role, Jörg held various positions at TÜV Rheinland Group, including Segment Manager for PV Power Plants, Regional Field Manager for Solar & Commercial Products, Global Segment Coordinator for PV Power Plants, and Director of the Global Competence Center for PV Modules. Jörg also worked as a Project Manager for Photovoltaic Module Testing, where they managed test and certification projects for PV module manufacturers and developed new test methods. Jörg's work experience spans from 2000 to the present.

Jörg Althaus completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Brighton from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2001, they attended Fachhochschule Darmstadt and obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Elektrotechnik - Energietechnik.
