David GENOUX

David Genoux has a diverse range of work experience in the field of geophysics and project management. David has worked for various companies, including Clean Energy Systems, Seabed Geosolutions, Geokinetics Inc., PGS, Grant, CGGVeritas, and LDG.

At Clean Energy Systems, they worked as a Project Manager starting in 2022.

During their time at Seabed Geosolutions from 2018 to 2021, they served as a Project Manager and was responsible for delivering subsea offshore surveys for major oil and gas companies. David successfully managed multi-million dollar contracts and navigated challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.

From 2014 to 2018, they were the Seafloor Operation Manager at Geokinetics Inc., where they oversaw geophysical projects in multiple countries and was involved in tendering for offshore projects.

In 2012, David served as an Operation Manager in Mexico for Geokinetics and managed a large offshore geophysical operation for PEMEX.

David worked as an Operation Manager for Geokinetics Inc./PGS Onshore from 2009 to 2011, where they were responsible for running the onshore business in North Africa and supporting geophysical seismic crews.

At PGS, David served as a Party Chief on an EM crew from 2006 to 2009.

During their time at Grant in 2005, they were a Party Manager for an OBC crew and managed a fleet of vessels and coordination with port authorities for seismic activities.

At CGGVeritas, they held the role of Geophysicist Project Leader from 2002 to 2003 and later served as a Party Chief/Party Manager from 1997 to 2001, managing seismic crews in various locations.

David's career began as a Seismologist at LDG in 1996.

Overall, David Genoux has extensive experience in project management, geophysical operations, and leadership roles within the oil and gas industry.

David Genoux completed their Master's degree in Geophysics at the Ecole et Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre - EOST from 1992 to 1995. David also obtained an Engineer degree in Geophysics from the Ecole et Observatoire de physique du Globe de Strasbourg during the same period. In addition to their formal education, David Genoux has obtained several certifications, including Time Management Fundamentals and The Eight Essential People Skills for Project Management from LinkedIn in 2022. David also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2021.
