Steve Dupree

Steve Dupree has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. Steve started their career as a Software Development Intern at Avid Technology in 1998. Steve then worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, where they implemented bug fixes, features, and security improvements. Next, they joined Virtuoso as a Software Engineer, responsible for the design, development, troubleshooting, and management of an industry-leading travel consortium web site. After that, they worked at WildTangent as a Software Engineer, focusing on the back-end design and implementation of a customer-facing e-commerce site. Steve then joined Allrecipes.com as a Software Engineer and was awarded Employee of the Month for decoupling a third-party application database from site-critical internal databases. Steve also achieved a twenty-fold performance improvement for a nightly batch process. Currently, they are working at Clean Power Research as a Senior Software Engineer.

Steve Dupree attended the Mass Academy of Math and Science from 1992 to 1995. Steve then went on to study at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 1994 to 1998.
