Amy McDonough is the Vice President of New York Project Development and works from the company’s regional offices in Latham, New York. Amy has worked for Borrego Solar since 2011, starting in Massachusetts as a project developer. She began working in New York in 2013, where she spearheaded the company’s expansion into this market and grew Borrego’s NY team into a regional powerhouse.

In NY, Amy has overseen the development of over 86 MW of completed projects with another 75 MW in development. As a developer and now manager of project development in New York, Amy focuses on distributed generation development including large-scale commercial solar, solar + storage, and stand alone storage.

Amy is a LEED® Accredited Professional, and she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Miami University, and her Master’s of Science in Geology from the University of Vermont.
