Steven Sun

Mr. Steven Sun is a Director of Engineering working out of Borrego’s New England regional headquarters. He is responsible for shepherding his projects from handoff at the end of the development phase to construction kickoff. Since joining Borrego Solar in April of 2012, he has focused on supporting the operations and engineering teams by designing commercial-scale PV installations for a variety of applications: ground mounts, rooftops and elevated shade structures. Previously Steven worked on analyzing products and supported a team tasked with updating and improving Borrego Solar’s PV design standards. Prior to joining the Borrego Solar team, Steven worked for a solar thermal and PV firm based in the United Kingdom. He is a certified PV installer with the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP®) and he earned his Master of Science in Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Reading, United Kingdom.
