James Bouquet

James Bouquet has worked in the IT industry since 1997. James began their career at Compete, Inc. and Perficient Incorporated as a Senior Consultant. In 2002, they joined CNA as a Senior Application Specialist, where they designed, developed, and supported 35+ service producers and consumers using IBM's Websphere Message Broker v6. In 2011, they moved to ClearBlade, Inc., where they currently serve as a Senior Solutions Engineer. In this role, they architect, designs, and implements IoT solutions for clients within various business verticals, utilizing the ClearBlade IoT Platform and edge processing where appropriate. James is also a Senior Consultant specializing in IBM Rational tooling and software testing.

James Bouquet has a long history of education. James completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Math (statistics) and Economics from Northern Illinois University between 1988 and 1992. James then returned to Northern Illinois University and obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Science in 1996. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, such as the Interfacing with Raspberry Pi and The Raspberry Pi Platform and Python Programming for the Raspberry Pi from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2017, the Interfacing with the Arduino and The Arduino Platform and C Programming from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2017, and the Introduction to the Internet of Things and Embedded Systems from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2017. James also has a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google, which they obtained in February 2022.
