Sean Tozer

Sean Tozer is the current VP of Engineering at Clearco. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Loblaw Digital from November 2013 to August 2021. In this role, Sean led a team of 150 developers in extending and rebuilding Loblaw's core ecommerce platform. Sean is passionate about driving team ownership through organizational design and has successfully grown the business to more than $2 billion in revenue in 2020 by investing heavily in the technical roadmap and in-store operations.

Prior to their time at Loblaw, Sean served as the Software Development Manager at SiteScout from March 2013 to October 2013. Before that, they were the Manager of Informatics and Programming at the Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics from January 2010 to February 2013. Sean began their career as a Quantitative Analyst (co-op) at Legg Mason Canada from June 2005 to April 2006.

Sean Tozer is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, where they earned both their MMath and BCS degrees in computer science and business.
