Your mission: Work with Customer to enable, optimize and maintain cyber operation missions.
We are seeking experienced system engineering professionals to support our customer’s ongoing mission by applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases. The candidate will work closely with the customer to gather requirements for assisting and solving tangible mission problems. The position calls for leadership of the overall technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed as well as support to project planning assessment, control, and risk management of overall program.
A day in the life consists of:
- Support rapid prototyping, proof of concept, engineering, architecture, and emerging technology requirements for continued modernization of customer mission
- Perform enterprise and thread level analysis, engineering, architecture, and technology transfer evaluations.
- Establish and share best practices and principles to guide the architecture, system designs, software development, requirements management, usability, implementation, and deployment strategies.
- Provide engineering analysis to ensure adherence to foundation requirements (e.g. Compliance, architecture, quality, technical).
- Interact with product teams and stakeholders to implement established guidance, practices, and standards into viable processes and solutions.

What we are expecting from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering field and 20 years of systems engineering experience OR Master’s Degree and 18 years of systems engineering experience
- Experience in requirements analysis and strategic planning
- Experience in dataflow architectures
- Experience in risk management and risk assessments
- Experience evaluating operation and technical trade-offs
- Agile/SCRUM team process leadership experience
Nice to have:
- Software development experience
- Experience in IC mission (Cyber)
- Working knowledge of Frameworks (Git, Hibernate, Nexus, Eclipse)
- Working knowledge of data interchange formats (JSON, Apache Avro, XML)
- Working knowledge of data environments (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Splunk)
- Experience with modern change management tools and processes (CICD) process
