Mithun Raj

Mithun Raj has over 20 years of work experience in the banking and finance industry. Mithun is currently the Head of Trade Finance Products & GTM (Asia Pacific and MENA) at Cleareye.ai, where they utilize advanced Artificial Intelligence technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of trade finance operations. Prior to this, Mithun held the position of Vice President Operations at MUFG, where they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the trade operations team and implementing digitization initiatives. Mithun also worked as a Vice President in Wholesale & Global Markets Operations at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB), a Transformation Manager in Institutional Banking Operations at ANZ, and as a Vice President in Trade & Commodity Finance Operations at Royal Bank of Scotland Business. Mithun has extensive experience in trade finance, operations management, and implementing TBML/AML checks and controls in trade processes.

Mithun Raj completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology between 1995 and 1999. Mithun then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance from IFMR Graduate School of Business - Krea University, which they completed from 2000 to 2001.
