Jason Higgins

Jason Higgins has a diverse work experience from 2004 to 2023. Jason started as a Senior ASIC Designer/Verifier at LSI Logic, where they completed architecture design and testing of a subsystem for multimillion-gate SoC ASIC design. Jason then joined Magnum Semiconductor as a Staff ASIC Designer/Verifier, contributing to the development of advanced video processing functions. At Avvasi Incorporated, they held multiple roles including Senior Designer, Manager of Platform Engineering, Manager of Systems Engineering, and Director of Design Engineering. Jason also worked at Kaleidescape as the Director of Platform Engineering/Software. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Engineering Manager at 2G Robotics Inc, responsible for building a cohesive team and delivering underwater laser scanning and imaging systems. Jason's most recent role was as the Director of Research Solutions Engineering at Clearpath Inc. Jason is currently the Director of Engineering at Clearpath Robotics by Rockwell Automation.

Jason Higgins has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which they obtained in 2003. Jason then pursued a Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2004. Jason also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from Professional Engineers Ontario.
