Zurab Laliashvili

Zurab Laliashvili has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Zurab started their career as a Financial Director at Georgian Trans Expedition, where they played a crucial role in analyzing budgets, financial reports, and projections to identify growth opportunities. Zurab also conducted research on port terminal operational processes, resulting in significant cost savings.

Following this role, Zurab worked as a Market Specialist at the South Caucasus Mission of Action Against Hunger (ACF-E) for a brief period. Zurab then joined Future product design as a Senior Business Manager, where they demonstrated their business acumen and strategic thinking.

In 2011, Zurab joined LIMENS JLLC as a Business Development Specialist, responsible for driving business growth. Zurab later moved to R Group, where they served as a Project Manager Business Development, overseeing various projects.

In 2017, Zurab joined Montgomery County Public Schools as an Interpreter, utilizing their language skills and cultural understanding to facilitate effective communication. Zurab also joined Clements Worldwide as a Client & Partner Services Specialist, later transitioning to the role of an Account Manager.

Zurab Laliashvili has a diverse education history. Zurab obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Tbilisi State University in 2003. Zurab then pursued a Master's Degree in International Business and Foreign Trade from the same university and completed it in 2005. In 2006, Zurab enrolled at Prague University of Economics and Business, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Administration in 2012.

In recent years, Zurab has engaged in various online courses and certifications. In 2021, they successfully completed the Google IT Support Professional Certificate program through Google - Coursera, which focused on Google IT support skills. Additionally, they received certifications in Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere from Google, and CompTIA IT Fundamentals ITF+ (FCO-U61) from Udemy, both obtained in 2022 and 2021, respectively.

Further certifications include the Google IT Support Certificate from Coursera, obtained in 2021, and the Tableau 2020,19,18 & 10: Certified Associate Certification from Udemy, obtained in 2021. Zurab also pursued training in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM, NAV, AX), Salesforce, and various sales-related courses, such as "Prepare Yourself for a Career in Sales," "Sales Negotiation," "Sales: Closing Strategies," and "Sales: Handling Objections." These sales-related certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2021.

Furthermore, Zurab acquired professional licenses in the insurance field, including the DC and MD State Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License and the DC and State of Maryland Health, Life Insurance License. Both licenses were obtained in 2017. Zurab also completed courses in emerging technologies in insurance in 2018 and multi-level sales of transportation and forwarding services in 2014. In 2004, Zurab participated in training programs for financial and marketing modeling and business communications facilitated by several institutions, including Saint Mary's University, the Canadian International Development Agency, Georgian Business Development Center "CAUCASIA," and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
