Jon Calhoun

Jon Calhoun currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University, a position held since August 2017, with a research focus on the reliability and scalability of high-performance computing (HPC) applications. Prior to this role, Jon was a PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2012 to August 2017, and gained practical experience through positions such as Research Aid at Argonne National Laboratory and Summer Intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Jon's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Arkansas State University.
