Michael Weyman

Michael Weyman, Ed.D, has extensive experience in the field of environmental science and regulatory management, currently serving as Deputy Director and Interim Department Head of the Department of Pesticide Regulation at Clemson University since October 2011. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Clemson University from 1998 to 2011, including Assistant Department Head and Field Supervisor. Michael's career also includes a role as an Entomologist II and Environmental Health Manager. Before transitioning to academia, Michael served as a Law Enforcement Officer with the U.S. Department of Justice from May 1994 to June 1997, focusing on federal inmate transfer, investigations, and courthouse security. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania between 1991 and 1994.
